I bought two sets of the series II quiet Stigmagz on a whim with the Kickstarter kind of assuming I wouldn’t really use them. Turns out they’re exactly what I needed! They’re the perfect tool to engage my hands to free up my mind, and they are quiet and don’t need to be disruptive to people around me the way many other fidgets are. I liked it so much I bought a few as gifts recently and over the holidays. My therapist asked about them, as well 😊 Big fan.
i thought the classics were great but the series 2 are even better. texture feels great in my hands and something about the quiteness scratches a part of my brain just right. i take these everywhere (glow in the dark is super cool too)
I've had my Stimagz SII for a few months now and I absolutely love them. As a former owner of the Series 1s, my biggest gripe was the noise, as I couldn't comfortably use them in class and I'm really sound sensitive in general due to my PTSD. With the SIIs, that problem is definitely less of a concern--I can get away with using them during lectures without any heads turning, but there is definitely still a clicking noise that is noticeable in environments with less sound. Especially when the magnets snap together from farther distances, which can sometimes happen without me anticipating it. I can't really use the fidget during exams or at a movie theater or anything, but it's nice to have a discrete, pattern-based fidget to use during meetings, social gatherings, and lectures. I'd love to see an ultra quiet/silent version in the future, perhaps made of even softer material.
I’ve tried lots of fidget toys, and this is my absolute favorite!
they feel high quality too
